Homecoming Week september 19 - 23

ENHS Staff and Students alike are looking forward to Homecoming Week which takes place September 19th - 23rd.

Here's the schedule for afterschool events:

Homecoming Dance after game until 11PM

Class Competition:  Teachers will take tally everyday of how many students in each grade are dressed up.  Student Council will keep track at the afterschool activities of students who participate and their grade levels.  The class with the most participation will be announced the HOMECOMING CHAMPIONS at the pep rally on Friday.

(Dress Up participation- each person counts as 1 “vote” for their grade, After school activities – each person counts as 5 “votes” for their grade.)

Volleyball Tournament – Gather a team of 6-8 people and have a student coach – Go to the APC (Beginning Tuesday September 6) and put your team name down with the list of team members.  We will create a bracket and the overall team winner will get a prize!  Tournament starts at 6pm in the Auxiliary Gym.  Please enter through Door #23.

Color Run – Weather permitting – Wear your white/light colored clothes and be prepared to get “colored” while you run/walk a course around the HS.  Do not wear clothes/shoes that you would be mad if they ended up stained.  We will start and end the event in the grassy area by the bus doors (Door #36)

Homecoming Court – We will have 4 students from 9th, 10th, 11th grade and 6 from 12th grade on the homecoming court.  Nominate students from YOUR grade level – link went out by email on 8/31/22.

Dance – This dance is for ENHS students only.  Tickets will be sold the week of homecoming, NO tickets sold at the door – all tickets need purchased the week of Homecoming in the front office Monday September 19 – Friday at 3pm on September 23.  Tickets are $5 each.  Dance will be in the cafeteria starting after the homecoming football game until 11 pm.  Students will need an ID (school ID or state issued ID) along with their ticket to get into the dance.

Per the student handbook, there are guidelines on who is eligible to attend ANY dance at East Noble.  Please make sure you read the items below, if you are not eligible, then you may not purchase a ticket or attend the dance.

ACADEMIC PROBATION/GOOD STANDING - Students requiring school permission to be involved

in extra-curricular activities must be in Good Standing. (Extra-curricular activities include but are not

limited to dances, permits, clubs, and/or athletics.)

- GOOD STANDING CLARIFIED

o Students are in Good Standing if they have earned enough credits in order to graduate with

their cohort. Students who fall behind on their credits will be placed on Academic

Probation and will not be considered in Good Standing.

o While on Academic Probation, students will need to demonstrate through progress reports

that he/she is passing all his/her courses in order to be considered in Good Standing.

o Additional requirements for being admitted to dances

At the time of ticket purchase…

• Students are in Good Standing if they have no outstanding detentions. This

would include any 1 hour, 2 hour or Saturday School detentions. If a

student has an outstanding detention, they will not be considered in Good

Standing.

• A student may not have a total of referrals that is greater than 15% of the

completed school days. For example, if a school dance happens after the

100th day of school, the student must have less than 15 referrals for the

school year.

• Students will need to demonstrate, through progress reports that he/she is

passing all his/her courses in order to be considered in Good Standing
