The ENHS Debate class had Kendallville Mayor Handshoe and Jack Meyer, president of the Mayor's Youth Advisory Council visit to help with a discussion on "What can we do to make Kendallville a more appealing place?" The students collaborated ahead of time and had a list of questions for the mayor. She clarified a great deal for the students in their discussions.
The visitors left with a lot of ideas and information, a few student volunteers for potential programs and the students had some eye opening experiences about the City of Kendallville, regulations, ordinances and also programs.
